The Smith Athletic Park Youth Soccer Campus is located in the Smith Neighbourhood of the Township of Langley and will meet rising community needs for recreational soccer space. A curved mass timber structure will enclose a full-sized artificial soccer pitch and support spaces that feature training facilities, change rooms, food services, and public use areas. Construction will be split into two phases with the first phase comprised of three outdoor artificial turf fields and spectator bleacher shelters, and the second phase the indoor soccer training centre. The project is a collaboration of Acton Ostry Architects and MJMA Architecture & Design.
